Police and having a wee at the roadside

is it a myth that truckers are exempt from prosecution when caught weeing at the roadside.Where as other members of the public can get done for exhibitional offences.Due to the nature of the job,we have no choice to spend a penny.

i heard you was exempt from being prosecuted as long as it was the rear n/s wheel, but its probably an urban myth

so if i was doing a pish down the side of my car and not a lorry, i could just show them my licence and get away with it

anyway it sounds like a urban myth to me

100% urban myth

I’ve heard it was taxi drivers that this rule was for, as long as “the rear door was opened to preserve modesty”

Just be discreet and dont take the ■■■■ and you should be ok! :sunglasses:

Dunno then?:

Never thought I’d get away with that!

bit of a problem when the bladder is ready to burst and there is no place or time to find a safe place to stop, then have to use water bottle, while in motion.

hackney carriage to be exact, plus one hand has to be on the vehicle

i got told years ago from an old hand that there is a law that allows a “waggon driver” to urinate on the front nearside wheel so that he can still hold onto the reigns of the horses…

nobody in the old days would want the horses and waggon tearing of down the road whilst the driver went for a ■■■■■…but i don’t know how a “truck driver” would get away with it …

unless he had a couple of horses pulling his unit…   on i don’t mean in the engine

in the days of police escorts {rather than a man in a van} i,ve had more coppers peeing up my trailer wheels than i can remember, so if its ok for them…

taking a pee at the side of road, was down to the old coaching days,a driver may do the deed up the n/s front wheel,so he can control the horses still, as said before,i dont know about trucks, but off the trail for a min,it is still wrote down in law, that a hackney and coach driver, shall carry a bucket of water and a bale of hay for the horse, for the daily operation of said vehicles…some of these laws have not been revised since 1885,so any coach drivers on here, and you get a tug by a narky vosa man demanding to see your bale,or water, :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: expect a fine, lol

Do as they do do in France, stop and take a pee on the side of the road, nobody takes any notice :open_mouth:

Tiger

I notice, and I struggle to resist giving them a quick blast of the hooter as I go by just to put them off!

You are allowed to ■■■■ at the side of the road as long as you are eating a bale of hay and your granny is holding your tool with her left hand. It was in the Google magazine.

i was once arrested on suspition of drink driving, i had to give them a urine sample, the sample was to be analysed the next day. so i was released on part 4 bail. i decided to break back in to the police station and nick the evidence. but i was caught a short time later. i was then charged with “takeing the ■■■■”.

The continental seem to have the right idea, when you’ve gotta go-----.I was fined in Germany 10Dm for peeing on the truck wheel because it was on the road, had I peed on the grass it was allowed as the grass absorbs the liquid. Our German based guys can confirm if this is the law.
