Poi files , snooper

i’m having a bit of a problem getting a poi thingy made up for my snooper and wonder if anyone can atleast give me a gentle nudge in the right direction and tell me what i need to do .
i’ve asked the poi bloke ( who for now will remain nameless ) if it could be done and was hoping he could point me in the general direction of what it is i need to do .
now this fella has told me , i think , that it can be done if i supply the correct file type , now again i’ve already read that on the website and contacted him trying to explain that i have no idea what that meens and have no idea what a file type is or infact where i would get one from .
THE MAN JUST AINT INTERESTED .
my question is , what is a file and where the hell do i get one from ? more to the point what do i then do with it .

AND JUST INCASE ANYONE FROM SNOOPER IS READING THIS YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CRAP , THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I’VE CONTACTED SNOOPER , ONCE ON THE PHONE AND TWICE BY EMAIL , AND YOUR SERVICE IS SHOCKING , INFACT YOU LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS JUST COST YOU ANY REPEAT CUSTOM FROM ME , LIKE I POINTED OUT TO " YA MAN " AT THE POI I DREAD TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAPPEN SHOULD SOMETHING GO WRONG WITH THIS UNIT .

i doubt my lack of repeat custom will put you out of business , or even bother you , but the fact is it should do , because i am infact an unhappy customer , i’ve contacted you 3 times and 3 times you failed , that i’m afraid is an 100% fail … not good is it.
snooper s7000 truckmate , good satnav ■■ well yes it is . value for money ? no it aint as you dont have any backup whatsoever .

you may need “poi edit” it’s free if net.
it will convert any poi into the relevant poi type you need. i.e tomtom to garmin etc.most poi are free.
hope that solves your issue
