hi have been given a working time directive logbook at work to start filling in, have not used poa on digi tacho before and am finding it difficult to get the hang of keeping track of my hours this way, anyone any tips on best way to do this, tacho is in 09 daf cf
Keep your own diary too! then copy it!
I dont bother with poa, may aswell stick it on break does the same job and you get something for it (resetting driving time, split daily rest etc). Would only use it if your company tells you to.
Press “ok” then use the up/down arrows until the display reads “driver 1”
Press ok again then select the relevent date now scroll down using the up/down arrows and your activity will be displayed as it would be on a printout.
At the end of all your activity the total will be displayed from 00:00 from the day you have viewed.
Easy!!!when you know.

Why?
The tacho records can be used to do that by analysis … yes?

Probably because his company has asked him too!

Maybe the company only want to have to retain and safely store the tacho records for 1 year instead of 2 could be one reason.
Can’t remember cos seldom need a print out, but don’t totals of all modes feature on a print out?

They do, or you can get them of the display.
