POA OR BREAK

Can anyone one out there please tell me if you can have a break while tipping at an rdc.ive been told you can, by the boss. having allways been told you can’t.it has to be taken outside :confused:

Yes you can have a break whilst being tipped as long as it’s not you doing the work.
You can have a break inside the grounds of an RDC and whilst parked on a bay if you wish.

Actually you can have a break just about anywhere that you can park.

So your boss is correct in what he/she says :wink:

just to add to what Tachograph has posted you are more likely to be able to take a period while being tipped in an RDC as break than you are POA. Both things are near enough the same but the rider for POA is you have to know about the likely length of the period in advance, either by experience or being told. This may not often be the case, making the booking of the time as POA impossible.

You have probably been told you can’t take a break because you must be free to dispose of your time. This is nonsense spouted by those who do not know the different requirements of Break and Rest.
