POA does anyone ever use it?

green456:
I never use it cos to qualify as a POA are you not supposed to know in advance how long the period will be??

I never know when the RDC’s gonna tip me (does anyone?) I aint driving, I aint doing other work, I dont know when I will be tipped so all thats left is break and thats what I use
No doubt someone will tell me im wrong tho

Not wrong! but if the company insist you use it then as long as you ask when you arrive or have been before and know they are useless toosers you can use poa, for instance if you went there 2 years ago and it took them 2 hours to unload you, you can book 2 hours. If you ask the gateman, he tells you 3 hours, then you have it. If they get you out in two that is your actual poa.

Its bull crap, it is like asking how long a piece of string is

I use break and other work, it is easier :stuck_out_tongue:

yeh i agree there break is better but i supose from the companys point of view there look and see breaks recorded they think your having them over well our my manager would but then he is a dip stick lol

As long as you are paid for breaks, put it on break.
If you work for one of those companies who wont pay you for breaks, put it on POA.

All that time on POA leaves more time for OT later in the week, win win :sunglasses:
