It won’t. If they’re not paying drivers you can bet they don’t have the money for peoples tax bills. I would find the money if I were you, its £100 fine plus interest.
And before everyone chimes in about it being the 31st of January, the first year you make enough to pay tax you pay 50% of that years bill on account by 31st July which gets used against your tax bill for the following year.
The agency i work for wouldnt put wages through PML today because of the risk of not getting paid, because they have been trying to get a hold of them all week no reply to emails or phones calls and thought something was up. They just dealt with the drivers direct. Supposedly there is a answer phone message that their computer systems are down.
