I just sailed Plymouth-Roscoff-Plymouth this week, and the Pont Aven going out, was a cracking ship.

For both ports you can walk off and leave the truck.
i use that crossing every september when i ride down to the algarve on the bike. the pont aven is a good, clean, modern boat. cap finistiere is ok but not as nice.
the sunday crossing gets into santander about dinnertime monday.
it wasn’t so nice last year when they were on strike and i had to ride up to calais to get back home.

I know the majority of drivers are professionals, but I was really annoyed on the Hull-Zeebrugge a few weeks ago. Kids sitting with their parents in the restaurant and the drivers sat nearby effin and blinding.
I was ashamed to be a driver tbh.

This is also very true, it does not bode well for the “we want to be treated like human beings” mob when you sit on that boat sharing the same seating area as the “general public” to the feeling you are sitting in the Hollies in Cannock!!

And crossing only 17 or 18 hours
No good if need a 24 but saying that lately on the portsmouth24 hr crossings ee cant get a 24 onthe boat
