HELP!!! Advise needed!
I took a reduced weekly rest last weekend (worked Saturday, rested Sunday) Normal shift resumed 8am Monday. I’m now ensnared in the nightmare that is the M1 (2/3 hrs of delays ahead [CRYING FACE]) I’m not going to get back to base by 11pm (started shift at 8 this morning)
Am I correct in thinking that I now have to park up before 11pm and take a minimum 45 hr rest?

You can have a daily rest period then drive back to base before starting your weekly rest period.

If u are back at base by 11 then go home and start your weekly rest, it will depend on previous and future weekly rests if u are able to take another reduced weekly rest. 15 hr shift if back by 11, any driving or break infringements do a double printout and write explanation on back and hand one in and keep other one[emoji106]
