Fatal to dedicate your truck to fridge work .you are narrowing yourself down to the most competitive branch of the industry. Curtainsider -roll top ,with that you can do a whole lot more. Buy an old cheapo and get the feel for the work & then upgrade. If it don’t work out you haven’t lost so much & you won’t have to work it 24/7. Years ago a driver on Hallet Silberman bought a truck with no written contract from the firm ,just on his managers word. It was an F16 3 axle double drive Globby with the latest King low loader. Work went quiet & he went mad then went bust.He was ban-jaxed , he couldn’t be flexible. Get a cheapo because thats the rate you will be working for.
I sent the OP a helpful PM 1st week of June telling him i knew of a reputable well established large co. in LIverpool that payed reliable & reasonable rates on general haulage + 1 or 2 other suggestions.
Not had any response.
