Don’t forget to contact the court and tell them you can drive your missus to jury duty, after all.
I know , I hope they don’t see I’m trying to claim jsf as no work

Not really, a good troll makes it believable. Dozy takes it too far, revealing himself every time.

With the hours you were gloating about on the run up to Xmas you have no chance of getting nothing from job seekers allowance as you will no doubt have savings above the point at which you can claim anything. Unless of course it was just a wind up after all![]()
I’m not asking about universal credit that states you can’t have savings above 16,000, I’m asking about job seekers allowance , which states you can have savings of above 16,000
There are numerous different angles all under the heading of UC including Jobseekers based UC.
Non means tested just means contributions JSA based UC which is time limited then moves to means tested.
I think it’s 20 hours per week you’re allowed to work and still claim. You were allowed to keep 40% of your earnings the rest is deducted from your benefit.I think that was recently increased in claimants favour.
But the downside is they won’t count limiting your jobsearch to less than 20 hours as meeting the Jobsearch commitment.
Which effectively means you’ll be sanctioned for not taking more hours of crap work than less hours of decent work.
The jobsearch conditions are onerous and scary. To the point where I preferred to take capital out of the house equity than be subject to it.Wouldn’t have been able to survive on their pittance anyway.
You sound like you’re in a relatively bulletproof situation to meet the deliberate destruction of the industry that’s coming and contained in the plan for rail.

Yeah that’s true but it’s still entertaining though, i probably wouldn’t bother coming on here so much if i didn’t have dozy stories to read!
Imagine what we are in for now, dozy on the dole! having to go shopping in Lidls

The txt I’ve just got is saying there getting ready to process my application , and there’s a link to universal credit , but if you look at link you can’t get it if you’ve savings above £16,000 , so when you say claim anything you can , what else can you claim other than jsa/ u/c ?
Once you get to £16k you’re basically cut off from any means tested state benefits. You’re expected to use your savings to live off. If you decide to try to get below the £16k you have to be careful how you do it as the DWP can disregard any spending you do to bring you below the £16k limit if they think that the reason you did it was so you could claim benefits. So for example paying off debts, if you needed to buy a new cooker, fridge etc that’s OK but go on holiday unless it was one you’d already got booked before the claim, buy a new car when you already had one and they’ll disregard those and treat you as if you still had the money you spent on those.
Has anyone noticed that every time Dopey is out of work, he goes into a frantic panic and scrambles around looking for work, swearing he’s never going back to the previous job, yet ultimately he ends up back where he was.
He’s obviously not going to get any money from the dole and he’s exposing himself and his finances to public scrutiny by attempting to claim JSA or UC.
He just needs to chill out and be frugal with his money.

It’s the first time I’ve ever not had work so I’m not sure where the panic every time out of work comes from Pierre , have you been drinking on the settee again today
As for not getting u/ c I’ve not applied for it as I’ve over £16000 in savings , jsa we will see

Deffo very quiet out there , my son is operations manager at a transport company in Avonmouth ( hot bed for transport ) his company put an advert out 2 days ago
Class 1 driver - 39 applicants and counting .
This time last year they were 2 drivers short and had to use agency to cover positions , what a difference a year has made .

Grantham is the same , dead , wasnt long ago there was plenty , mate said they’ve loads of lorries parked up
I have looked into it myself, but never qualify cause I’m always on the books.I know loads lads self employed on the social.
They have a set limit roughly 16k a year salary.
Every pound you earn over you lose 50p of your universal credit.
Same as the savings if the limit is 16k you lose asset amount for every pond your over till you have no entitlement.
It Varys on payments massively depending on your own personal circumstances.
Rent, home owner, savings, hours worked, childcare, geographical area.
Best thing todo is go on gov website and go on one of the calculators put in your details and it will tell you exactly what you can claim.

25 mil buys a lot of locos and it’s clear where they expect to get/take the work, for them to haul, from.
It isn’t canal transport or air freight that’s in their sights.

No, because he is a troll and on here solely as a wind up. Which, I might add, seems to be pretty good at because there are many posters who answer his usual trolling posts/questions as genuine. He has been caught out several times in the last few years.
I find the posters (who are aware of his trolling) the most entertaining as they usually go along with his rubbish as an ongoing joke.
One of his many ongoing trolling things is continually uploading sideway pics, yet the apple turnover pic is the normal way around.
