Old John, have you had that from new? I used to drive for a farmer who had a half dozen Scania that same colour. We were on Bulkers and hay and straw. Southwest Scotland

Do you reckon that crane could lift his wallet John?
His wallet? No, no, that crane can hardly lift his toolbox.
He needs Ainscough for the wallet.!!

GOG47,
No lad, I bought when it was 3 years old. It came from Pontrilas timber near Hereford.
I’ve never liked it, but it’s a good reliable lorry, so just hung onto it. Where I am, it’s a ling way to a motorway or a clean air zone, so I’ll probably just run it till either it or me give a up the ghost.

Ah ok. It’s just that colour isn’t very common (or nice[emoji1787]). Yeah they’re good reliable lorries with great traction

Night out on a farm. One perk of my new job… We drop the fresh empty, and park up to wait for the bulker driver to top the other barrel up next morning, before taking that to a dairy.
Ready to roll.
It’s a DAF, but it does the job

Out with the old and in with the new, old on right (as you look at it) new on the left. Waiting to be stickered up and goes on the road Monday. You forget how much unnecessary crap you carry with you until you move house.
This week’s horse and cart…
An upgrade from the daf for sure but just a little too big for farm collections. Nice to have a microwave tho lol
