it wasnt actually an article about me, it was an article about women drivers in the eighties, written by my mother who was one of the first few in the country, she mentioned in the article that i now own my own truck and it was pictured.

the front cover of the mag it was in has a yellow Volvo FM tipper onit

Ok,form an orderly queue for taking the mickey

and soon to be added to the “fleet”

They look okay Dennis and any way bling does
not pay the way, the way to make a profit is to
have the right kit for the job involved, A question

Mainly local Pete , definitely local for the day cabs  and tbh the number of nights out I do would be less than 10 a year :open_mouth:

:arrow_right: How have you found that old Daf mate? Our old one never let us down (not that nice to drive though), simple yet effective  We have now sold it to a Welsh farmer who is putting a cattle body on it. It was replaced with a LF and its already had a new gearbox, the windscreen leaks, passenger door only locks from the inside, had to have a new starter…we have only had it less than half a year. :open_mouth:
:arrow_right: Is that Scania going to be on Hay&Straw?

the Daf is ok, a bit low geared for m-way work but great for climbing hills locally , as you said , simple and also very economical to run - it’s very low mileage as it’s ex RAF

the Scania will have a livestock box put on it

that’s good to know, it did cross my mind that the cows might fall off !.
