What are you getting? Topline 730?..
For a long time I’ve been trying to pluck up the courage to make an offer for a red, 52 plate, SSC but as I’m a coward by nature I’ll have to content myself with something swedish instead !!!
It won’t be long before the first 730 arrives in Fxt with a T Cab-Long Line chipped to 880 !!!
Wonder what the monthly repayments on that bugger’ed be
it’s not that you are a coward, it’s more like i won’t sell

Come on people lets see some more pics…
here’s a pic of the fleet together
shame the red 52 plate is missing from the line up though, at the time of taking the picture, it was not in the yard
I’ve not got my unit yet but I collected this trailer (with a borrowed unit) yesterday.
My unit was delivered today so here it is all together for the first time:
The fifth wheel needs moving about a foot forwards and the air deflector on the roof either needs lowering right down or perhaps removing altogether, but apart from that it’s about there I think. I’m on the look out for some alloys for the unit too.
Paul
personally Paul, i would keep the roof air deflector, just lower it right down, this for a couple of reasons, you mentioned in an earlier thread that your work that you have bought the unit/trailer for is seasonal and you may do other work when not doing your main job, if you pull curtainsiders or fridges for example, you might need the air deflector
also, i think they look crap without them
here is mine, will be collecting my new trailer this week as well

I’m probably going to do that at least in part cos it saves me having to find somewhere to keep the thing…
I don’t think they look silly without one with a bulker on the back but it would look pretty silly without one if I had a 4.2m curtainsider on it.

Yep, taking the whole lot in for an inspection tomorrow morning, hopefully there won’t be much found as both unit and trailer have been inspected before I bought them.
Still no O-Licence though and when that finally does come through there’s TASCC to sort before I can start work properly.

TASCC are normally quite quick. Can’t say to much for VOSA
Have you had it over a weighbridge yet?

Nope although I’m going to try and do that tomorrow on the way back from the inspection.
