remember them dark blue motors from st Helens big into fodens the yard was interesting full of old motors and plant , think the son is still going kealshore
I do - Don’t remember them having Fodens, just the Magirus Deutz bull nose tippers
This one was put on by fodens41 a while back.
I remember them coming to prominence in the 1960s with Leyland Octopus eight wheeler tippers delivering power station fly ash to Crowthers concrete brickworks at Little Lever. Always seemed to be in a hurry, I suppose the drivers were on a bonus scheme.
