I had a phone call on Wednesday to talk about a class 2 job I applied for in my area and she said she was really happy with my experience and could I fill out the forms and do a DVLA check (sure no worries for £15 an hour why not)
Filled out forms and then the DVLA check and at the end of the application it arranged a time and date (today) for a WhatsApp call to confirm details time of the interview was 14.15 yhis afternoon
NO ONE CALLED bearing in mind I had to take the afternoon off to take this call as I have a drivers mate with me and I don’t want my current place to find out the I’m looking fir other work,
So I’m out of pocket on wages waiting for a call that never came. I text the number no reply, I called ITS SWITCHED OFF
So I called the agency directly and they said the person I’m after don’t work in the office they are home working I will send her an email.
And yet 3 hours later still ■■■■■■■■,
Is this common or am I now a member of the quota for the cv pool target for the agency?
Should I call Monday to find out what’s going on ?
(Just had an email match for total jobs and it’s been reposted) gahhhh take it I’m no longer being considered how ■■■■■■■ rude if that the case it don’t 5 seconds to call someone to let them know they are no longer considering you for the job,

Agency in my area are like that, then when they are desperate they will get in touch with you. Think they just do it get numbers up.

What about the old “pull that one its got bells on it”. What I cant understand is why they go to the effort of registering you THEN DONT HAVE ANY WORK ANYWAY! DUH!

Hate to tell you this but you weren’t applying for “a job” in the traditional sense, you were simply registering for an agency where by they may or may not give you work.
Nothing wrong with agency work if thats what you want to do, but never do things like use holidays or take time off unpaid from your current job to register with them as that is simply what you were doing here
Also its not a case of you not being “considered” anymore for the job, the total jobs thing is just the agency reposting generic advert to get drivers on the books.

Not always tho - sometimes the job on Total is being run by the agency and they send you there and you end up getting a 20 grand payrise.
