I find it very annoying that you can have a demo of a lot of these apps available. I have downloaded too many apps in the past that are crap after you have paid.

I dont want it for free - I want a demo BEFORE I buy. Nothing more.
Most Apps have a free version and a paid version, most free versions are loaded with adverts and that helps to pay for the development costs, If they dont have a free version then it will be reliant on the money it gets from selling the App to make any profit and hence no demo available.
Err, read the reviews then make an educated decision?
I’ve bought lots of apps but I always try the free version first. Software developers need to eat/live. If there isn’t a free version I go by the reviews.
