Hullo all,
Does anybody have, or know where I can lay hands on a Phillips R570 Radio. I need this as a part of a restoration project that I am involved in. Cash is ready and waiting, even if it’s not working, as long as it is repairable, I should be interested.

You might be better off trying a rover breakers as this was fitted in lots of metros, maestros, rovers, montegos

I never realised all those cars had that radio fitted in them. Certainly I shall look into this very quickly. However if you do happen to see one before I do, then perhaps you would drop me a line.

Thanks a lot mate, I gave the bloke a ring today. He said he has thousands of old Radios and Speakers in boxes, and he will look through them and call me back. So I am living in hope.

Ebay item: 150581515881 is a Phillips R770, I dont know if the difference is inside of the radio or externally.

Thanks kerbut, Yes I saw that, as I look on there as a matter of course each day. It must be a R570, and if I am lucky I shall also get the correct Domed shape Speakers as well.
