Phillips Navigator Vs AA Truckers Atlas

As the title suggests, which is the better map for Truckers?

My new boss to be isn’t keen on sat-navs and I’m not amazingly happy using them although they might be great according to some people. I have a “AA close up truckers atlas from 2007” which is now out of date.

My questions to you are:- A)What do you use normally(Not satnavs) and would you recommend either of the Phillips or AA range?
B) The atlas I have is fairly huge, doubt it would fit in my rucksack, are there smaller versions of said map/atlas?

I only really need LA postcode areas at the minute but don’t want to buy “car maps” and end up in a sticky situation and a full map is always helpful!

Thanks.

I’ve got a Phillips Navigator atlas and it’s an excellent bit of kit. Has got weight limits, bridge heights etc. Cost me around £10 from Amazon.

New updated Phillips navigator out on 5th may

I’ve been looking at the Phillips navigator on Amazon and there seems to be a fair few people suggesting that things have been missed out…
