Considering there is only about half a million trucks compared to 20 million cars in this country.cars accounted for about 80%, HGVs about 7% or road space. Measuring traffic by road space is interesting because it stop people thinking a truck takes up much more space than a car.
When I read stuff like this it makes me wonder why the RHA/FTA don’t produce big stickers with this info on, for us to put on the backs of our trucks. Of course, that would require co-operation on their part.
We need to educate the car-driving masses and get them looking at themselves rather than pointing at trucks all the time.
