I’m not saying for one second that the testing or test itself is perfect right now, if anything it’s too simple and very much not reflective of the real world.
But the answer is not to reduce standards. Undint really know why I’ve bothered but started a petition if anyone wants to back it. Share it. Sign it. At least get together and stand up together for once.

Seeing as these internet petitions appear to be the last piece of democracy left available to us, I’ve walked my muddy digital footprint across it.
Gotta at least try something. It might fly, it most likely will tank, but its worth a shot. Get it out there as much as we can.

Don’t see the problem, HC here in NSW, is a 1 day course, no test just an assessor , no couple uncouple … reserve up 10 metres in a straight line … a diddle …. No DCPC, no digital tacho … if within a set distance of base don’t need to fill out the log book either …. They dumbed it down many years ago … gear exercise gone … accept it or leave industry.

When searching for the term ‘‘HGV’’ in ‘‘all petitions’’ it seems that other than the one about facilities us lot give scant regard to these petitions judging by the number of signatures they get, it seems that the bus drivers stick together though, they must think the job of a class 2 driver is a walk in the park
