Only one I know of around the Leeds area is Inspired pet foods at Thirsk, DHL provide trucks and shunter there.

Its the Mars site next to Ikea J27 M62.
My mate was offered a full time job there recently on days. Was trunking to Great Bear at J29A on M1 2 runs a day, or trunking to another site at Warrington.
The FT shift pattern was 4on 4 off, but he wanted M-F and they offered him that but he ended up not taking it.

Cheers mate, that’s really helpful, appreciate it. The agency guy said trunking and that they were long trunks… So some b s there! I’ll look into it further as the money on agency is ok especially weekends. Runs a bit short for my taste, but you cant have everything!!

DHL are taking over all of the Mars work, first of 2 new warehouses is about to open at East Midlands Gateway to service the new contract. The Mars Petcare factory in Birstall does all of the dry petfood production.
