Persistance ( and Congratulations )

from CM this week

That certainly is determination

Um, 65th attempt? :open_mouth:

I am really pleased for him and I admire his tenacity, but I am not sure I would want to be sharing the roads with him, in case the pass was a fluke!

I would love to be sat in the job interview room, just after they say, “we will let you know”.

I have mixed feelings on this one.

On one hand, I have to admire this man’s tenacity and positive attitude…

On the other hand, I would not have much confidence in a brain surgeon who had just qualified after failing his final exams 64 times.

But of course, a driver’s employer has no reason to know how many attempts at the test failed, and with the tenacity this man has shown he WILL soon be out there in a Class 1. Of that I have no doubt.

Failing 64 times in a row does suggest the pass was a fluke.

As I said, mixed feelings.

Or maybe he is the ultimate example of someone who cant cope with tests very well. Pete

They will if they read CM.

Good thinking, or maybe he is planning to set-up as a trainer and thinks a thorough knowledge of the driving test will help him.

Now there’s a thought!

Pete

Has anyone got a proper link to this? Gotta say not a quitter got want he wanted in the end.

One of his trainers was telling me that the guy was a decent driver, just bottled up on tests … :frowning:

On a positive note, he’s nearly acquired his 2 yrs experience before he got his licence

Whilst I admire his tenacity I hope he can afford the £65,000 he reckons his license has cost him, if he’s gone into debt for it he’s a bloody fool.

Having said that I wish the bloke luck and hope he finds the job he wants soon.
