Have seen that before. Shows how the cyclist mentality needs to change though when another one tried to follow his route. Guy was lucky not to get crushed but he was too keen on racing through the lights and the rest of the traffic.

I think it is unfair to equate that sort of dit shipery with typical cyclists.
But I could imagine it all being pretty exilerating stuff. To see how it should be done you need to look at one of lucas brunelle’s videos, Here is the descent into mexico city, can’t help but think to myself that looks fun, I just love the ffeck-offness of it. LOL

To some extent I have to agree with dieseldog999, I’m not against cyclists and have no problem sharing the roads with most of them but to put that clip up as being how cyclists should use public roads is a bit strange, if that’s the intention, using public roads as race tracks and weaving between moving traffic is hardly an example of good road sense.
I have no problem with 95% of cyclist, it can be a bit frustrating to get held up behind them but that’s part of being a road user, I’ll often try to leave room for them to get past if we’re in heavy slow moving traffic, what I don’t get is why some cyclists believe it’s OK to weave in and out between moving traffic completely ignoring all road rules and putting their own safety in jeopardy, while expecting all other road users to put the cyclists needs/wants/safety before everything.
Most cyclists I come across are people using the roads reasonably responsibly to get from A to B, unfortunately there is a minority of cyclists who think they can negate any responsibility for self preservation and constantly abuse their right to use public roads.

The clip I put up showing the mad descent into Mexico City was in no way condoning cycling in that manner, but it was so mad / extreme / bizarre that I actually think its worth a smile, I’ve always loved dangerous sports and there is something deep down in me that says, “i fancy a bit of that” and as long as they don’t complain or blame anyone else if they come off then I make no complaint.
The clip you put up of the clueless petulant tw4t cannot be compared in any way … a total cretin who should have his bike confiscated and crushed, I doubt you could even find a cyclist to defend that.
