Only if people keep thinking its ok to do it. They wont get a penny if the novel idea of sticking to the speed limit and not using phone while driving kicks in.
but they wont,as most folks perception is that mobile phone use is ok and speed limits are outdated for modern cars and completely ott useless. im never off the phone when im driving though I use a earpiece,but quite happily txt away all day and night.if its ok to use a cb and watch a satnav,then its ok to watch the simpsons . crap happens no matter what your doing,hence Volvo drivers tend to be the worst offenders as they are led into a false sense of security due to Volvo flogging the safety aspect of their cars.the made phones to be used,and cars to be driven…if they don’t want speeding,then limit them to 75 max,or vary it depending on where the satnav is.same as ciggys…if they are so terrible,then just ban them altogether and make them illegal instead of waffling on and taxing them to death.
