Why are there no warning signs to say road narrows and prepare to stop or give way.
Two trucks do not fit.A car and one truck do not fit.The road gets narrow with the old wall that leans out in the road and in other places the pavement sticks out.
How do the Council allow the old leaning wall to stay there.One day it will collapse on pedestrians or traffic.

A car and a wagon do fit Toby i do that road at least once a week also 2 trucks can fit through in certain places, but you are right in that there are no signs and it’s not my favourite hill to drive up whilst fully weighted.
And yes that wall will go one day and god help anybody who might be there at the time.
Is that the one coming out of Frome? I seem to remember when I was doing Gaymers runs that there was a bad section of wall, but never really considered it a risk for road narrowing

I wouldn’t say Frome it’s the A37 from Shepton Mallet at Pensford which is the last village before you hit Bristol if heading North.

The bends at Ston Easton for two trucks can be tricky, nice and slow around there, at 20 mph or less.
And at Temple Cloud down near the Doctors surgery.
How they live in Pensford, with trucks going through every gear, and the sound of exhaust brakes all day and all night.

its a nightmare
Bet you lost the mirrors on the first hill going out of Shepton with the Babysham factory on the left heading to Bristol.
It gets tight on that bend and catches you out.

I’m so old that I remember delivering apples & pears there when it was Showerings. They ran a delivery fleet of very smart powder-blue ERFs and had a herd of chamois deer in the field opposite the factory.
There is still a huge plastic deer by the factory entrance.The sons are niw Brothers drinks and business is booming with their fruit flavour cider of toffee apple,frutti tutti and strawberry cider drinks.
They have houses in the ten million pound mark.
