Good pics there matey!
Been there today managed to get some photo’s in between showers. Got to give credit to all those boys out there spending time cleaning their vehicles, onto a bit of a loser with the weather and conditions like this though!
Looking at the photos, the conditions look worse than they were on the Saturday!
got there about 10.30 and stayed for nearly an hour and took a few pics inbetween the kin showers,i gave up in the end but there was some very clean motors there
I went today aswell and the conditions were crazy. The field was like a lake but the trucks on show looked very smart. Dag ended up pulling a old tractor unit out of the field with his range rover!
That Mansfield recovery unit is a right beast close up, looks very nice.
i went on saturday and it was really good to meet up with friends from here. but for the show itself… waste of time and wont be going again.
Totally agree with you, the orangisers seem to think that they can run a sucessful show without doing any publicity at all!
Arrived at 10.00am on Saturday and there were 5 cars in the car park
looking at the website saturday night but could not see anythink about this years show which is poor if you are trying to attract the public.all that came up was previous peak shows
i was there for the weekend, and i personally thought it was a refreshing change from usual truck shows with the usual bunch of morons who blast air horns every few minutes or rev the living daylights out of their V8 engines, cos “they sound nice”
as for the organisers not advertising it, from what i understand, they were not going to be doing it this year, but quite a lot of drivers kept asking for it, also, it was not “technically” open to the public.
Curnock, did you get to see the inside of Steve Chestons’ motor?
i have got some pics to upload from the camera yet, once i get them done, i will get them posted
