  5. roughly how much storage do they have

  6. im going to be using diferent trucks each day so is it portable

  7. can you store mp3’s on them and do they have a headphone socket on them

  8. do you think the wife will shout at me for spending more money :unamused:

cheers simon

  1. are they any good

Wouldnt go anywhere without mine! So yes, it will depend on the software you use, I use TomTom

  1. once ive bought the pda and sat nav is there any additional cost afterwards like monthly subscriptions

No other charges, unless you want trafic manager which informs you of hold ups on your trip.

  1. would it be any use for multidrop work

Great for multi-drop, specialy if you dont know where you are going, you can input all your drops and you can then work out which is the best order to delever!

  1. basicly is a pda like a mini computer ie can i put other applications on it

Yep mine has a smaller version of MS office and email, a web browser(you will need a phone for it to work) it also plays mp3s and video’s every thing you need on the road!

  1. roughly how much storage do they have

Depends on the PDA you buy! but you can get additional storage cards, so in reality as much as you want!

  1. im going to be using diferent trucks each day so is it portable

I always carried mine with me so they are very portable!

  1. can you store mp3’s on them and do they have a headphone socket on them

Yep as well as a speaker that is very good quality.

  1. do you think the wife will shout at me for spending more money

Proberly  but they are getting cheeper but buy the best you can afford!

Thanks TC i shall look deeper into it now
