Whats the situation on crossing borders and pcr tests , basically i have to fly over to Ireland and pick up a tractor unit , what documents do i need to bring with me and do i need a pcr test for flying,
Then for my return am i better off to take the ferry from dublin or from belfast or does it matter

Don’t know about flying to Ireland but catching a ferry from Ireland does not require a test, depends on where you picking the unit up from, but Dublin is probably the best bet. A flight only requires photographic id although a passport is your best option, you’ll need your driving licence it’s an offence to drive in Ireland without it in your possession. As for the unit proof of insurance and authorisation although highly unlikely you’ll be asked for either unless something goes wrong. Don’t think you need an MRN for booking on unit only but whoever is booking your ferry will help you there
