It would have to state in in writing in your terms and conditions for a start.

We ger a “bonus” of £36 per four weeks for not damaging the truck or trailer. We only lose it if it was our fault and not for wear and tear :exclamation:
I’m sure that is legal, but it is illegal to deduct anything other than statutory payments from your wages without your consent. Also, who decides if you are guilty or not before the deduction is made? Dodgy groud I would have thought but as with much of this industry who is going to back the digruntled driver :question: :angry: :angry:
