yoused to joke at job interviews as i got up and headed for the door
i suppose you want me to supply the diseal as well
no fuel card then it better be a big tank
any company that doesnt issue a fuel card for a job that requierers it aint worth working for .as the chance is there that one day you wont get your money back
i donโt object to leaving my diesel card while i fill up but iโd never leave my own credit card. I once got asked to pay up front when i drove a taxi and i told him to zb off.
Its nothing to do with thieving scumbags. The reason they need the card and to check it is to make sure it is actually a card they take. Its no good filling up with a valid card only to find out its a valid one that they donโt do. Needless to say i never voted
This talk of using your own card to buy fuel on the companies behalf reminds me:
I donโt watch TV now but used to. On one of those AIrline type programmes, a budget airline loaded plane had a problem with their fuel card or regular fuel supplier in some foreign airport.
There was somewhat of a delay whilst it was decided how they were going to obtain fuel so they could leave that airport.
In the end the captain had to use his personal credit card!
If fuel prices continue to rise a driver will soon need a Platinum card to fill up on his own credit card!
