heard some chatter today… somone was offered a payrise at the place they work of several pounds per hour that is untill the goverment give dispensation to drivers and then the rate will go down to what it is now.
who would still be in the company once the notice went up.

The eastern Europeans won’t be coming back. Germany is the place for them to work nowadays if they want to work abroad. Same wages, housing costs half as much.
Having said that, wages in Poland are almost on a par with western Europe anyway.
