Well I feel the poor relation here ( trucknet) ,I read of all these drivers getting given all this extra money from all these companies ,13 p.h,£25 per day more etc,etc and I’ve not been offered a penny more ,even though we’ve not got enough drivers ,makes you wonder where these companies have found all this spare cash too throw about like confetti,lots are saying they’ve not even asked for it,they’ve just rung them up and told them there paying them x amount of £ ,s p.h extra .
I thought all these companies were a load away from going out of buisness ,just about keeping there heads above water ,obviously not .

This is a fine example of somebody who thinks they know the haulage industry, sadly mistaken, your wages fade into total insignificance compared to the costs of vehicles, repairs, maintenance, fuel, ferries, the list goes on and on, go demand what your worth…
