Pay rate - Rough guide

Hi all,

I’ve been offered a couple of runs from Glasgow to Italy (West coast) via Hull.

I don’t know the full details, but as I’ve only done france before, what should I be expecting in terms of days and how much would you expect to walk away with in wages for a run across.

On the assumption that im going over and heading back with no delays or extra days, just looking for a typical idea.

Cheers

well if you are out of work I would have thought whatever you consider to be reasonable

Im in work, but I’ve been moaning for a good while to go back across, but its been around 4 years since I went to france, so would be keen to hear a typical wage for an italy run.

What will you do France for, then add a couple of days onto it.

A weeks work is a weeks work whether it is delivering down Bratford High Street or Viale Certosa

If you ask before you go, you will not be disappointed

Well I was sooking about £550 a week 4 years ago. Would that be the ‘norm’ now in this day and age?

I think you might be struggling, unless you count all your nights out and meal allowances :unamused:

Good luck with it

£650 per trip after tax.
