Anyone else think it’s weird that these guys seem to dump trailers by themselves in random laybys?
You never see one it’s always 3-5. The A630 had about 6 of them the other week.

They are touring theatrical production trailers. They unload at a local theatre drop the trailers in a convenient lay by or industrial estate, then return and reload at the end of the run usually about a week and move on to the next town on the tour.
At a guess,considering they do shows exhibitions etc, its nothing unusual to have limited parking at a venue so they have to park out the way.
A630 if I remember correctly is Sheffield area so Sheffield Arena comes to mind,I have been proved wrong many times so its only a guess
At least they move them away from theatre loading bays when not using them; Touring ballets and operas leave their trailers outside the Bristol Hippodrome and fill up all the loading bays nearby.
I will park in front of unaccompanied trailers in laybys if it appears they’ll be there for a while.
Often see them on Fabian way nr Swansea too, between the Amazon roundabout and the Motorway

There’s always one parked opposite Princes in Cardiff.

They’re not dumped , they’re there for the ever striking dock workers and fishermen so they can set up flaming barricades [emoji6][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
