They do look similar to silcock express but defiantly not

Didn’t Silcolene oil (or something like that) run motors in similar colours
or may of been the merchants that sold there products ( or maybe they were all black) I can’t remember.

I seem to remember years ago i used to collect animal feed from A & A Peate Maesbury Hall Owestry and Oswestry Waste Paper had a unit on site not sure if it was when they started would have been late 80s early 90s i think

Dalton’s (Silkolene) were mostly black units with just a red and gold stripe down the doors so not theirs.

EMR = European Metal Recyclers, the UKs biggest scrap metal dealers, several depots (scrapyards) in the country. they supply Port Talbot steelworks with scrap iron and steel.

R.Turner is Roger Turner from Fordham, Cambs., long established, also a farmer, no relation to the Turners (Soham) family, but amicable relations between both companies. I borrowed his low-loader once to move an AEC Matador for a friend.

Rob,Is that the one on the docks that you can see when you look across from Hythe ? Did it use to be Birds years ago ■■?

No not that one, its in princes street northam, although you can see it on the left coming into town as you cross northam bridge, it was Pollock and brown then 600 group then EMR

The Elliot Blackmore has just loaded Leachate out of the old Leigh Environmental/Veolia landfill site at the top of the Ironbridge bypass.

Harry Roberts is from Telford, Hadley area I think.

Morris’s are from Maesbury road Oswestry.

I don’t know who the Foden was owned by but J.B.M.I specialise in precious metal recovery, aluminium ingot’s etc. Their works are opposite A.L.E at Hixon Ind. est Staffordshire.
