PAUL GEE's PHOTO COLLECTION (Part 1)

Hiya,Another bunch of wonderful pictures Dean…liked the shot of Freightlines 111 marching past Downtons Buffalo…the Maggie tipper behind looks like one of Langdon Bros of Hewish near Weston-s-Mare.The unidentified Marathon was also Freightlines, attached is an absolutely dreadful shot of mine of SHU 383S heading along the M4.Like most companies the lorry was put to work earning money and the full livery applied when time allowed.Cheers Bubbs,

I think guy 8 wheel blue tipper belonged to Boden transport Walsall

I think the blue 8 wheel guy may have been Boden transport from Walsall

M62.jpg Mark did well getting this shot.
The Trans Con is heading East on the M62 at Scammonden Dam notice the unusual crash barrier designed that way to supposedly stop the snow drifts accumulating on the carriageway and blow straight across. Google Street View today

Foden Sandbach.jpgCracking shot with plenty going on, note the motor in the background with a brand new B Series ERF cab on it’s trailer probably collected from the nearby ERF works.
I stand to be corrected but im sure this is Sandbach before they built the bypass and changed the road layout.

This looks like an owner driver I knew, think he was called Windy Coppenhall.
He loaded at British salt every morning and delivered bagged salt to bakeries in Lancs., all hand ball!

Great picture DEANB [emoji1303]
I know the owner of that it was a purpose built break down lorry from new to a firm in Southampton called R&A Commercials
When my mate bought it he had it repainted in Stirlands colours the VO part of the registration is from the East Midlands I do believe Nottinghamshire
Here’s a line of some restored lorries in Stirlands colours only the ERF was a genuine Stirlands lorry
Here’s GVO in colour with my dad standing in front he worked at Stirlands for 37 years

Hi gazsa401 and Dean,

Here’s a couple of photo’s of the Atki Wrecker, the first is how I bought it from Tilbury’s in Southampton, I had been buying several new Renault trucks from Peter Tilbury in the Eighties and Nineties and as he was getting rid of the Atki I purchased it from him. It was originally a tractor unit and Tilbury’s had it streched and the body and crane fitted, they also had a Seddon Atkinson dealership in Winchester run by Peter’s brother Michael.
The second pic is a later one in my colours after a few years of hard work.

Dean thanks for all your time and effort putting all these photo’s on,it’s much appreciated.

Regards
Richard
