Gammond’s were a rather ‘colourful’ Hereford haulier- Robert, you’ll have to ask my Dad about them, I’m sure he’ll have a few tales to tell there.
It’s possible that this ERF ran down to the Middle East - I remember them running a 6 x 4 Scania 140 on M / E some point in the mid 70’s. IIRC it was driven by Graham Gammond, son of the owner - Eddie Gammond.

Tbf mate most that I listed were casual jobs that I done regularly, and for mates.
Reckoning up I’ve had 8 full time jobs since 1979, one of which was my own business for 14 yrs, so not as bad (or embarassing ) as it looks.
