hi dean,
Cam Gears were in Resolven in the Neath valley. It’s known as TRW steering now.My guess with the new bulker with a coke body is E&J Meeks? A big operator back then, though a northern company they had lorries based and working in south wales for many years.
Regards Andrew.

Spiers of Melksham Mandator artizus.com/acatalog/info_MJ100.html nice Mike Jeffries painting and one from Len Roger’s Collection .
Oily

Nice looking motors the Spiers Mandator’s and Mercury’s and a fine painting by Mike, nice fellow too I had a good chat with him one day at a show on painting. Shame he seems to have missed the ‘D’ out of the name on the grille! Franky.

In 1998 Kwik Save was taken over by rival Summerfield in a £473 million deal.
Eleven years later in, March 2009, Somerfield themselves were taken over by the Co-operative Group in a £1.57 billion deal creating the UK’s fifth-largest food retailer with the Somerfield name replaced by the Co-operative brand in a rolling program of store conversions ending in summer 2011.

Georges f88 looks like a spread axle trailer ?

The f7 tipper has a well built body  ,not sure about the wind catcher sheet rack though :unamused:

Hi Punchy Dan, Just what i was thinking, very strong build.
Like Deanb, i thought Wilcox but dont remember them using so many vertical ribs, but could be a special build, Mark Rouse retired many years ago, shame he is not on this forum.
