A One Transport went into liquidation in November 2010.
They had a trailer yard on Gelderd Road Leeds next to Junction 27 of the M62, which is now part of a large retail park and a yard near the old Briggs Cafe also on Gelderd Road in Drighlington.
They also had depots at South Mimms, Bradford, Manchester, Middlesbourgh, Wellingborough and Glasgow along with a head office at Wesley House Huddersfield Road, Birstall, Batley, West Yorkshire.

Mark R:
Turners Transport Guy before they were Orange and White…brilliant photo. Thanks.
One of their London Depot Big Js, the depot was near Stratford Lift, east London.
Anglia Canners were from Kings Lynn Norfolk.
They ran their own in house transport department until 1988, after which time it was subcontracted.
Three years later, in 1991, Anglia Canners closed down shortly after being bought out by HL Foods.
Today the old Anglia Canners factory site is a retail park.
One of Anglia Canners ‘C’ Series ERF’s parked at Cousins Filling Station Guyhirn in 1987.

Thanks Paul, nice pic !
There are alot of people looking at this thread from facebook etc,and i wondered if anyone recognised the
following 2 ERF European trucks. We have not been able to identify who bought reg nos KDM 460N and
JLG 35N. If any one can tell me who operated either of them and hopefully has photos they can post
on here that would be great !
Vehicle KDM 460N was used in the Truck magazine Euro super test in June 1975,but we have no idea who
bought it and operated it ■■
Vehicle JLG 35N
Both vehicles would have probably been in ERF factory red.

Thanks wideboybob! But Dean is right: we don’t know what happened to the NGC tested by TRUCK in 1975 (KDM 460N). We do know that the other one (JLG 35N) was sold to someone in Kuwait after it had done a tour of the Middle-East as a demonstrator, but again, we don’t know who or what company it was sold to. I’ve even asked the old boy who drove it there, and he can’t remember either! Cheers, Robert
Nice pic of Woodcocks Volvo Dean, loaded with rebar out of mcalls
Paul’s photo of the MFS Scania 81 with Littlewoods livery reminds me that MFS had only two vehicles that were not registered in Sheffield or West Yorkshire. They were OWO 834R and OWO 835R fleets 100 and 101.Fleet 101 ended up at Maltby as a shunter. Who would the dealer have been in South Wales as WO was Cardiff after 1974,Monmouth previous to that.I’ve included a photo of it at Maltby…
