I took Dancing Colin out for a week on his return to tanker work. He worked for Woodbrow Bulk Liquids then. He then moved to Patterson. but he ended up doing part time until Van den Bosch raped the company.
I wanted to run a “guess the number of teddy bears in his cab competitions”

Bloody hell there are some rogues on there. I remember everyone one but not the names, unless that is little Stevie Bev in the corner

My name is Malc. I only worked at Van Den Bosch when they took over Patties, but did my time at Woodbrow with the likes of Brian Beasley, Mick Franks, Rosie and Nick Marrison

There used to be a couple of Patterson lads if I remember correctly who parked up at Millwall along with several other of us northerners and they spent all week running out of Pura Foods - away from Monday till Friday. We were regulars at the Magnet & Dewdrop on Manchester Road in Millwall

Until Van Den Bosch bought them. I doubt Patterson ever bought a new truck but they did look after what they had remarkably well
Hmmmmm the first time I went out with an artic I spent my first night out picking the brains of a bloke I was parked up with. He showed me that I’d been driving all day with my tacho card in back to front
He was from Pattersons of Batley with a tanker and his name was Colin. The only other thing I remember was that he had a beard (possibly the bloke waving his hands in the air in the pic).
I was about 21 and he was older than me so he’d probably be 50+ now.
EDIT Possibly this bloke?
another was a guy with a beard who’s name escapes me but I saw him today in our local Tesco so he must have moved here.
His name is Colin
