I think the opinion of the drivers on the choice of trucks will be pretty low on the priority of the fleet manager.
I didn’t realise Patinter had a UK operation, but they do seem to be a big company, been going to Spain and Portugal in the last couple of months and seen loads, they’ve been outnumbering Warberers.
They don’t seem to favour one particular make though, so I suppose they must play one manufacturer off against another. At the moment I think their chosen manufacturer must be renault as I’ve seen loads of new high cab T range in their livery.
Sorry. Made question too difficult. Just wondered why a Portugese ragsider firm would open a UK office to get involved in boxes? Doesn’t seem a logical move.
They have opened a yard in West Thurrock.
Opposite the fuel bunkering place and Hanbury Riverside.
Over the weekend there was at least 10 vehicles there including 2 new UK reg MANs.

Whats not logical about it, they must have a customer requirement to have a UK operation, so why would they not service their customers needs

I think it’s mainly car parts. I’ve noticed they have yards in Germany and Netherlands. Perhaps they’re worried how much more difficult it is to operate in the uk compared to other EU countries and aired on the side of caution.
Will still have Brazilians driving for them I guess !
