I wasn’t mocking. Years ago, the likes of benkku et al (@les_sylphides will remember their names) used to post their own sketches. Did you sketch this from a photo or from memory?

Right with you. As Dionne Warwick once sang, “Walk On By”.

Bit off topic but what the heck. In 1980 I took my then girlfriend to see Dionne Warwick in Glasgow. Tickets were £20 each which was a small fortune then. She did a one hour show and that was that, no encore or anything. Crowd were baying for blood so the support act came on and did a few numbers. Fortunately they were the Flying Pickets so they didn’t need to set up any instruments. I’ve had a grudge against ever since.

parkroyal2100 it wasn’t mocking I remember benku from Finland I think, only drawn with grey matter whats left of it

Some bands had their “encores” set up before they even started the tour. All part of the show.

At least Pete Townsend had an excuse if he didn’t want to come back on!

I know, the encore used to be part of the set. You did your first numbers, got the applause, left the stage and then came back by “public demand” and did the next part of the set. Dionne just finished and hightailed it to the pub without as much as a “by your leave”. As I said, £20 per ticket was a considerable sum then so we expected more. She was good though to be fair to her so I might cut her some slack.

Could have been worse mate, she could have just Walked on by,
on her Way to San Jose.

If you Say a little prayer she may come back for another gig…who knows.

If you were unhappy about it, well I’m getting a sense of Deja Vu, ..she always was a bit of a Heartbreaker tbf.

So Make it easy on yourself, and let it go.

If you want more advice..
Reach out for me..
Cos after all…That’s what friends are for.
I thank you.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Well lets have some photographic evidence CF only problem is you will plagiarise some poor buggers shots and claim it was your own work which I am fairly certain it wont be as I have said before I doubt whether you could sheet a bed !

If you didn’t use Google that is quite impressive.

It seems that your cognitive issues are as bad as SDU’s.
Yes I said that the sheet ain’t there to secure the load.
That’s what the ropes are for.
The equivalent of DVSA and VOSA could actually nick a driver for an insecure load of it was deemed that the sheet was being used to ‘secure’ the load which was a cowboy practice used by some drivers.
I also said that I’d roped plenty of loads ‘without the need for’ a sheet.
I also said that I’d sheeted plenty of loads even using the tilt cover of a stripped tilt.
I also said that it’s there as weather protection just like a tilt cover and a curtain of a curtain sider.
In exactly what way isn’t a tilt similar to using a curtain sider for side and rear pallet loads ?.Other than instead of heaving a curtain along the trailer you just drop the sides and attach the rope to the cover eyes throw it over the top and then lift the cover whichever side you’re loading on and remove and then replace the short wooden slats for the forklift.
You’d also have seen the discussion about the rarity of rope hooks on tilts which luckily I had.

Ex ‘Superstar DJ’’ mate…music is my thing.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
If I’d stuck at it instead of doing this sh…who knows, I could have been the next …Jimmy Saville.
:joy::joy:

:rofl::rofl::rofl: Are you actually serious here who’s having who on ?.You know less than nothing

Where did you read that?

He’s a clown never done the job

Could’ve had your own show on the telly too - Jim’ll F*x It

I did wonder why Jim always wore loose fitting jogging bottoms, it transpired later it was for quick and easy access has he didn’t have time to faff around with a belt.
