Hampshire County Council Arts and Museum Service have a website dedicated to the history of Thornycroft with of course pictures and comprehensive manufacture detail. A while back I wrote to them with the prospect of posting images from the site on here, after a to and fro of e-mails, I got a positive result yesterday. This is the main gist of it.

Hi Eddie.
Under the terms of the Click License, you may use the black and white historical images from www3.hants.gov.uk/thornycroft.htm for discussion on trucknetuk.com. The images should be credited to Hampshire County Council Arts and Museums Service or at least to the Thornycroft website.
Any images credited to Nick Corrie should not be used for copyright reasons.
Hope this is OK.
Enjoy!
All the pictures have to be re-sized and attribution added., it will take time but hopefully worth it Here’s a sample for starters.
