A Bowaters AEC 6 wheeler unloading newsprint reels at Liverpool Docks. The load is being unsheeted
“Bit by Bit” because of the wet weather.
Strewth, hands up those who remember soaking wet sheets and ropes.

If you can remember soaking wet sheets and Liverpool docks together , is that a bonus ?
I hope it was the ship’s crew manning the derrick and not dockers, they would have wanted a tea break between slinging the reels and setting them in the hold. Yes rigsby I have been there and got the T shirt in fact I have a whole wardrobe full of T shirts all with Liverpool and Birkenhead printed on them.
