Hi albion1938, the Tom Doolan AEC registration number SJO was Oxford city so the motor started its working life there, most likely for Home Counties Petroleum (delivering Mobil) Botley Rd., Oxford. adr’s dad drove a sister motor for the same firm. It is going the rounds as here it is in a different livery. Re-posted your pic for easier comparison.
