I was delivering to a regular drop in Pershore, Worc’ a few weeks ago, as I pulled onto the Trading Estate I saw this old Scammell Highwayman about to be loaded onto the Low-Loader, I knew I had time to make my delivery then have a look on the way out. The chaps loading it said no problem taking photo’s, it is a Ex-Pickfords wagon, & they were taking it away to be restored, so hopefully we can all see her on the Show-circuit in the future. Regards Chris

Thanks to servo88 and adr a fine lot of pics

Collins in Adelaide run an immaculate fleet - but boy do the trucks cover some miles. I drove this one Saturday night, just on 1 yr old and over half a million kms already.

Two of my lorries in the late 80s,when 90% of my work was with
Rank Hovis Ltd, delivering bags of flour to bakers shops, hospitals,
prisons,Asian shops,and catering colleges,etc, nearly all handball.

Hi Dave, They are at the depot I rented from 1985 until 1990,
unit 16 at Leeds Street, Wigan. The front of the Ford is near
unit 16,and the Bedford is backed up to unit 15. Both units
are now occupied by Plumb Center. Miry Lane is behind the camera.

Regards, Ray.
