Lucky escape for a chap who used to drive for me Tony Mapson, this is a Sea Route Ferry truck that went of a viaduct in Glasgow 37 years ago.
The two coppers on top were looking in the wrong place for the tacho card though, Buzzer.

Mappo got out of that alive ,dunno about brown trousers,be brown collars that way up, pretty sure that Sed Ak was rebuilt by Ellis Fellows form West Bromwich, Cheer’s Pete

Well I meant the ID was probably used! Its last tax disc ran out end of 1984 and a lad who worked at Fellow’s broke it for spares, he has sent me some newspaper cuttings of the incident, Cheer’s Pete edit; forgot to put pictures on, sorry!

Yes Steve, grew up got new clothes and became a proper tractor Started 1934 as Universal Power Drives making Forest tractors, mid '60s produced a car Unipower GT based on BMC Mini mechanics, also got involved with Scammell(S24) and MOD stuff, taken over by Alvis PLC 1994 the result in this picture. Early tractors were Gardner powered, this one rated at 250 ton and ■■■■■■■ powered
