Is this a Leopard operating in Holland Oily,? manual handbrake, steering and probably Leyland 4 speed box I doubt if it is a ZF at this era. ?
Thanks for posting. Leyland 600

Hi Oiltreader, The ciggy is a Senior Servcice, I could get them cheap off the Crew on the ships docked on the Tyne in those days, They also had Drum Rolling Baccy too, Cheap as chips as the old saying goes, They were the best times I had driving & working alongside older blokes who allways pointed me in the right direction, & taught me the correct way to rope & sheet & drive, & not relying on the brakes, The allways said use your gears at all times & change down to save the brakes, Mind you some of the old motors didn’t have good brakes at all in those long gone happy days, If I could turn the clock back I would do all again, My good lady thinks Im a sad old bugger, But I just remind her if I hadn’t done all of these things she wouldn’t have all the things that we have today, Like a Jag for instance, Plus many other things, Regards Larry.

A few pic’s of Guy’s, am i right in thinking that L.E.P was bought out by Swift Transport? Cheer’s Pete

Hi Gardner 120, what I remember of Coventry City 60s 70s was Robins family in charge with Jimmy Hill manager, also Joe Mercer, the scots players Willie Carr, Joe Holton and Tommy Hutchison, ? Glazier the goalie, Maurice Setters centre half, my last visit to Highfield Rd, early 80s and Dave Sexton was the manager, Jimmy Hill taking over from the Robins?? I think.
