Todays tipper with 3 axle dog trailer in NSW, a Freightliner Columbia, the photographer Richard Mohr works at the Mavin Truck Centre, Kempsey, 200+ miles north of you on the A1. This outfit works the Coffs Harbour area of NSW and was supplied by Mavin who are also agents for Mercedes, Hino and Sterling trucks.

thats right… I had it for about 2 years then got our first F86 …it had a 6 speed with 2 speed axle under a V8 perkins I loved it it could keep up with our D1000 ,s with V8 ■■■■■■■

Hi Widget, nice pics the dozer looks like a D8, am I right ?
With ripper on it must weigh around 35 T a lot for 5 axles .
Was in the days when axle weights were less , er , bothered about ?!

here,s a shot from a few years ago taken in Northern NSW out in the scrub must have been an old diggings there was an old Beddie too but it had been flattened cheers

Top of the heavyweights, at Devon, Ganteng Province, South Africa. Tractomas ballast tractors, having just read a wee bit about them, the info…1st two 8x8 units D75s with Caterpillar 3412 V12 750hp, 3rd unit D100 10x10 with Caterpillar 3412 V12 900hp.
