Past Present and in Between in Pictures (Part 1)

Discussing getting stuck, this is Chichester Market Cross , centre of town, used to be a vehicle thoroughfare, now my first trip there, usual asking mates for best way to the local morris mg dealer, down the A34, A27 fine until first Chichester signpost(should have been the second) I finished up getting stuck trying to negotiate this obstacle (the dealer was just the other side)
The top deck overhang (artic) on lock wouldn’t clear the building, if I remember rightly with plod watching I actually finished up going right instead of left to get round, long time ago, but not forgotten. There was another tight corner in Henley on Thames one way system for artic transporter top deck overhang where a house was clobbered a few times, I guess the marks are still there.

Any one remember this trader plying his wares, where did he come from any one remember, when I was a lad we had a fish monger call once a week and he had a Trojan van three wheeler with handlebars, Buzzer.

Yew Tree House, Snape, North Yorkshire DL8 2TJ
according to google
regards dave.

I thought I should recognise the Carrick name , an old-established family business .
They have (or had) stalls at Leyburn and Bedale markets , and probably others in the North Yorkshire area
I think they also had fruit and vegetable stall at the same markets , - rigids pulling c/c vending trailers.
Can anyone confirm the location of the photograph , please ?

Thanks to “Dafdave” for beating me to to it !!

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Still trading as far as I know , wet fish in one trailer , fruit and veg in another.
Ripon , Northallerton , Thirsk , Bedale markets , as for location of op’s photo I’ve no idea , very little evidence to go on ,trucknet csi job I reckon
